Frequently Asked Questions

Is this a subscription?

No. You are free to place an order when it works best for you and your busy schedule. Although, order cut-off is midnight every Thursday for delivery the following week. Because your order will not auto-ship, or auto-renew, be sure to check back for new menu updates and place your order each week.

Does the menu change?

Yes. We change our menu weekly to keep it fresh and to make the most of what the season has to offer. The Build Your Own Meal option will remain somewhat consistent, however, for anyone with very specific dietary requirements.

How long do the meals last once I receive them?

We expect the meals to last up to three days in your refrigerator. Vegan options may last longer. If there is chicken or steak in some of your meals we recommend consuming these dishes first for optimal freshness. We are working on developing options that would be Freezer Friendly as well. Please let us know if you are interested in Freezer Friendly dishes.

May I customize a dish?

Not at this time. We purposely designs some meals to be very simple and clean eating to avoid ingredients that are commonly avoided. We hope you can find something that fits your requirements from our evolving menu.

When is the deadline for ordering?

Please make sure to have your order processed by midnight on Thursday the week before pick-up/delivery.

What are the current pick-up/delivery days?

Delivery days are Monday and Wednesday. You may choose to have meals delivered on both days or just one. Pick-up days are Monday-Thursday and we ask that you let us know approximately when you will be arriving. We are temporarily operating out of The Stir, located at 185 Royal Ave. on the North Shore.

Is there a minimum order?

The minimum order is $45. However, if you would like to save on delivery fees, we offer free delivery on orders over $100.

Do you do deliver?

Yes. We deliver within Kamloops City limits and will expand to Monte Creek and Pritchard soon. Our delivery days and times will change as we grow but we are starting with delivery on Monday and Wednesday afternoons. If those delivery days don't work for your schedule please contact us and we will work something out.

Can I pick up my order?

Yes. Save the delivery fee and pick up your order Monday-Thursday. We just ask that you text or email an approximate time you will be arriving. We are temporarily operating out of The Stir, located at 185 Royal Ave. on the North Shore. meals@pickleandsprout.ca (778)538-0251

Do you have the nutritional break down for each meal?

We prioritize intuitive eating over calorie counting and tracking macros, recognizing their potential negative impacts on cultivating a healthy relationship with food. Additionally, it's important to consider that the nutrient composition, nutrient bioavailability and calorie content of an ingredient vary greatly depending on factors such as preparation method, agricultural practices, and harvest timing. However, if you have a medical condition that requires a specific dietary restriction, such as a low sodium diet, or if you need a detailed list of ingredients, please feel free to reach out to us.
